**Job Title**: Safety Officer
**Reports To**: Safety Manager / Project Manager
**Location**: balewadi, pune

**Job Summary**:
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment on-site by implementing health and safety policies, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among all employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of equipment, work areas, and practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
- Maintain records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure safe work methods.
- Ensure all workers have appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Review and update safety policies and procedures as needed.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies regarding safety compliance.

**Requirements**:

- ADIS advance diploma in industrial safety with MSBTE certification
- Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, prefered
- 2-5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in construction
- Strong knowledge of local health and safety laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is performed on construction sites and in office environments.
- May require travel between project locations.
- Must be available for emergency response when necessary.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
