**COBOL Mainframe Project Lead [ Localization : Chennai]**
- Should have good skills in COBOL, DB2, CICS and JCL.
- Should have good understanding of debugging (preferably XPED) and File-AID.
- Should be able to do understand design
- Understands customer needs and user requirements, writes technical specifications for the complex modules of major projects
- Should be able to identify/execute unit tests, integrations test.
- Develops business and/or technological and/or solutions-based and/or team management and/or customer relations managerial skills and expertise, depending on the job stream
- Able to contribute and gives warnings about technical risks, quality, security and deadlines.
- Delivers technical expertise and reviews, makes recommendations, optimizes, IS components (databases, environments )
- Good exposure in planning, monitoring, and tracking. Provide coaching and guidance to the team members about every aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently
- Should be able to manage multiple teams of 8-10 team members for task allocation, monitoring and supporting them
- Should have good soft skills and leadership qualities
- Should have strong analytical and requirement understanding
- Good to have hands on experience for Project lead activities (Project progress reports, MOM, etc.)
