**About the client**:
Our client is a creator-first company that is building for the Creator Economy. They help digital creators & influencers grow, manage and monetize their follower base. A few things in which we help creators today are:
They make collecting & disbursing payments and other redundant activities like community management for creators easy by using technology so that they can focus on creating good quality content
Creators can also run exclusive communities with their followers on our app. These can be paid or free communities which help creators keep in touch with their subscriber base. These communities are an easy & quick monetization method and help them create a recurring & stable income source, which helps in better content planning.
**Job Role and Responsibilities**:
- Act as an enabler by providing timely and accurate financial data and business KPIs that are required for timely action and decision-making by multiple business teams.
- **Control and Governance** of the company's budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management & finance processes, and financial & regulatory reporting for the region which includes multi-entity reporting.
- **General accounting **- GL maintenance, reconciliations, procurement process, monthly close process, and support finance analysts with accounting, regulatory and tax issues, payroll review, funding requirements, cash flow forecast, and bank / treasury compliance.
- **Reconciliation** and review of payables, GST, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Accrual & Prepayments
- Liaise with 3rd party accounting & tax service providers on local regulatory compliances.
- Govern the processes to provide project wise margin and profitability analysis.
- Responsible for **audit** and **diligence**.
- Working closely with the Senior Management team on setting right process, right policies & its adherence and ensuring to be a co-owner of business plan
**Qualification and Experience**:
- **Qualified CA or CPA** with a degree in Accounting or related field is a must
- **At least 6+ years overall experience** and preferably should have worked for 2-3 yrs in a fast-paced tech or e-commerce industry or start-up environment
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
- Good understanding of tax regulations and tax accounting principles.
- Prior audit experience is an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
