Laptop Repair Technician

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose, Troubleshoot, and Repair Devices: o Perform chip-level diagnosis and repairs on laptop and desktop motherboards. o Identify and troubleshoot issues related to motherboards and circuit-level components.

2. Provide Customer Support: o Explain complex technical issues to customers in a simple, non-technical manner. o Provide repair and replacement estimates based on diagnostic findings. o Offer recommendations for problem resolution in a clear and professional manner.

3. Ensure Quality Standards: o Adhere to and exceed quality standards, particularly for motherboard repairs. o Ensure all repairs meet or exceed Laptop Motherboard Infinity quality benchmarks.

4. Customer Interaction: o Greet customers in a friendly manner and create a positive customer experience. o Answer phone calls professionally, courteously, and in a helpful tone. o Handle all customer interactions with superior customer service, aiming to exceed expectations.

5. Inventory and Device Management: o Maintain accurate records of devices and inventory, ensuring proper safeguarding of store stock. o Utilize point-of-sale systems to record customer information and update the real time status of repairs.

6. Store Maintenance: o Keep the work area clean, organized, and maintain the store’s professional appearance.

7. Chip-Level Troubleshooting and Repair: o Perform circuit tracing and chip-level troubleshooting for laptop and desktop motherboards. o Conduct final testing of electronics and measuring instruments to ensure proper functionality. o Prepare detailed troubleshooting guides for different models using schematics and technical documentation.

8. Advanced Motherboard Repair: o Perform motherboard repairs at L2 and L3 levels. o Carry out chip-level repairs for notebooks, including BGA chip repair/replacement. o Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) clients.

9. Technical Analysis & Problem-Solving: o Accurately identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner. o Stay updated on the latest techniques for chip-level repairs.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in laptop and desktop motherboard chip-level repairs.Strong knowledge of circuit tracing, BGA chip repair/replacement, and L2/L3 level motherboard repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for preparing troubleshooting guides.Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience using point-of-sale systems for tracking repairs and managing inventory.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Technical certifications in electronics or computer hardware repair are a plus. Skills Required:
