Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Bengaluru

Reports To: Production Supervisor/Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Production Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Machine Operation: Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Quality Control: Inspect products and materials at various stages of the production process to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor issues and malfunctions with machinery or production processes to minimize downtime.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and report any major issues to maintenance personnel.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and departments to ensure production goals are met and any issues are promptly addressed.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.

Qualifications:
**Education**:
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required

**Skills**:Basic mechanical and technical skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move objects up to [X] pounds.

Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Working Conditions:
May involve working in a noisy environment with exposure to various industrial equipment.

Shifts may include evenings, nights, or weekends depending on the production schedule.
