**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Cloud/Admnistration,DB administration in EDB PostgreSQL
- Migration from cloud isp etc.
- Proficient with Backup and Recovery procedures using physical backups with utilities like Pg_dump, pg_dumpall, pg_basebackup and pg_restore methods

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Installation, Administration and Configuration of PostgreSQL database on UNIX
- Installation and Configuration of PostgreSQL database on Windows Server
- Knowledge on PostgreSQL Database Architecture
- Managing Users, groups, Roles and Privileges
- Backup and Restoration of databases using export/ import utility, Full, Incremental and Differential Backup methodology, Table level backup and restoration
- Troubleshooting any issues
- Managing database through PG admin tool
- Establish streaming replication & it's configuration
- Pgbouncer/pgpool configuration
- Pgbadger configuration
- Npgsql awareness..
- Dot Net frontend tuning with Postgresql

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Installing and configuring PostgreSQL server instances on local and remote servers
- Implementing Streaming replication, cascading replication for production database
- Configuring memory parameters in PG server based on the business requirement
- Installations, Patching and Upgrade of the PostgreSQL servers

- Bachelor's Degree
