**Responsibilities**

As an entry-level Big Data Engineer, you will work closely with experienced team members to help design, build, and maintain high-performance data solutions. You will assist in developing scalable pipelines, Spark-based processing jobs, and contribute to RESTful services that support data-driven products. This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you will be mentored and exposed to real-world Big Data technologies, DevOps practices, and collaborative agile teams.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Learning to work with distributed systems and Big Data frameworks.
- Supporting senior engineers in writing and testing code for data processing.
- Participating in code reviews, team discussions, and product planning sessions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers and QA.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Good understanding of core programming concepts (Java, Python, or Scala preferred).
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of Big Data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka (academic/project exposure acceptable).
- Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
- Awareness of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps tools like Git.
- Curiosity to learn cloud platforms like AWS or GCP (certifications a plus).
- Willingness to learn about system security (Kerberos, TLS, etc.).

**Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)**:

- Internships, academic projects, or certifications related to Big Data.
- Contributions to open-source or personal GitHub projects.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) or CI/CD tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹331,000.00 per year
