Position Overview:
The Program Officer - Collaboration will be based at the national office with frequent travel to the field areas (implementing states and others as well - as per need). The person will be responsible for strengthening the institutional knowledge base related to the collaboration model being implemented across the two states and to create a body of knowledge that will be based on the learning of the program and will contribute to the larger body of knowledge within the sector of life skills education while working with the government. The position will also be responsible for assessing areas of knowledge strengthening within the government system from the point of view of sustainability and building up resources which can steer life skills education related agendas on the ground in the government machinery. The person will be expected to also create relevant learning material / user guides that will serve as reference materials for initiators of a scale up program in various mediums. The person will work in close collaboration with the larger team and on the aspect of the program as on need, and other departments. The position will report to the Senior Program Manager.

Strengthening Institutional Knowledge:
- Lead the institutional knowledge building & management of the GEGEP department- Create a high-quality explicit strategy for the GEGEP department for concurrent institutional memory- Create a road map to get to the blue-print and mainstream the same as a part of the system and ways of working using technology- Roll out and anchor the process documentation of the collaboration modal of the GEGEP program - ensure that all the key aspects are covered

Conceptualizing and Creating Relevant Documentation for Stakeholders:
- Conceive and prepare strategic and learning documents based on the program in either modals -viz. policy briefs for the government, write ups for donors, learning documents for program teams- Conceptualize learning and documentation videos and hold the process from the program front- Conceptualize digitization and technology-based learning solutions while working closely with the research and technology counterparts- Create a plan for concurrent engagement of trained teachers and wardens on the field through co-creating field-based knowledge pieces- Strengthen the teacher and student handbooks that have been a part of the collaboration model based on field utility- Conceptualize and create ’how to’ learning guides based on various aspects of the program

Networking, Visibility and Landscaping:
- Support / anchor visibility and networking as indicated- Compiling innovative practices in the sector relating to landscaping and innovation- Network with likeminded organizations and articulate policy advocacy issues in relevant operational states- Represent the organization in relevant platforms and maximize networking opportunities

Liaison with Other Departments to Strengthen the Program (both modals):
- Liaison with other departments like administration for follow up on requisitions for workshops, Logistics, other services required like translations etc.- Liaise closely with Operations on tracking spending and initiating corrective measures for budget utilization, lead the budget exercise for GEGEP - contribute in making budgets, reviewing state budgets etc (depending on the role assigned by the Senior Program Manager) and to track implementation- Works closely with RME on using the existing monitoring mechanisms and data points for enhancing program quality and exactness of delivery, as well as designing new ones as need be- Works closely with People Operations team, if any support is required- Work closely with the communications department on various learning and documentation pieces as required

Program Implementation Support & Monitoring:
- Support in ensuring that the programs are being implemented on agreed benchmarks and stays on top of implementation of the designated states by working with relevant stakeholders- Works closely with Program Operations team and the State Team in identifying bottlenecks of implementation and resolves it- Takes initiative in identifying and resolving quality issues in the program while working together with the INCO colleagues and other stakeholders as required- Ensure that relevant data (reports/ dashboards) are analyzed timely and the feedback loop is closed by using it in the program- Undertake monthly check in calls as required- Ensure that Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) are being followed and stay informed about the challenges state teams are facing to refine the SOPs as in when needed

Qualifications:
Required:
