**About The Role**:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineering Intern to join our automotive car audio team. This internship provides hands-on experience in CAD design and development for automotive audio systems, helping you gain real-world exposure to the industry.

**What You Will Do**
- Assist in 3D/2D CAD design using CATIA V5, focusing on surfacing, sheet metal, and plastic components.
- Support the design and development of car audio systems, ensuring compliance with automotive standards.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers).
- Work on technical documentation, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), tolerance analysis, and BOM (Bill of Materials) creation.
- Support in design optimization for cost, weight, and manufacturability.

**What You Need to be successful**
- Must be currently enrolled in or have completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of CAD software (Catia V5), Mechanical design principles, including materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, including surfacing, sheet metal design, and assemblies will be an advantage.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
