**Job Title**: Health and Wellness Content Creator (Independent Contractor)

**Job Type**: Remote | Freelance (20 hours/week) | 3-Month Contract

**Compensation Range**:8k - 12k

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a proactive and creative Health and Wellness Content Creator to join our team on a 3-month contract. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality educational content focusing on functional nutrition, dietary ingredients, and nutraceuticals. This role requires expertise in the health and wellness industry, strong research capabilities, and the ability to create visually engaging content that aligns with our brand’s storytelling principles.

This contract will include clear milestones to ensure quality and consistency. Failure to meet content quality standards and deliverables will result in contract termination.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-depth research on functional nutrition, dietary supplements, and holistic wellness.
- Create well-researched technical blog posts covering food/supplement ingredients, their health benefits, side effects, and dosage guidelines.
- Design infographics that simplify complex scientific concepts for a broader audience.
- Develop engaging long-form video scripts for YouTube and short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.). Must be comfortable recording live videos when communicating scientific information.
- Optimize blog content for RankMath SEO, including keyword research, meta tags optimization, and backlinks.
- Ensure all content is factually accurate, research-backed, and storytelling-driven.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with brand messaging and customer engagement strategies.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Support website updates on WordPress for article promotion and content enhancement.

**Qualifications**:

- 0-3 years of experience as a content creator or in a similar role within the health and wellness industry.
- Students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of food science, nutrition, ayurveda, or similar fields may apply.
- Strong knowledge of functional nutrition, mental health, and holistic well-being.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to translate complex scientific data into engaging, accessible content.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Experience in crafting SEO-friendly titles, meta descriptions, and structured content.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other visual design tools for infographic creation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

**Key Performance Milestones**:
**Month 1: Trial & Content Quality Check**
- Submit two (2) well-researched, SEO-optimized blog articles (1,500+ words each) on assigned topics. Deliver two (4) engaging infographics to accompany blog content.
- Submit one (1) long-form YouTube video script (10 minutes) based on an assigned functional nutrition topic.
- Deliver three (3) short-form social media reels (30-60 sec) with captions.
- Meet content quality standards (well-structured, research-backed, and visually appealing).

**Month 2: Scaling Up Content Production**
- Submit three (3) blog articles with accompanying infographics.
- Deliver two (2) YouTube video scripts.
- Create six (6) social media reels.
- Optimize all blog content for RankMath SEO.
- Present a brief report on content engagement metrics.

**Month 3: Final Evaluation & Strategy Refinement**
- Submit four (4) high-quality blog articles.
- Deliver two (2) YouTube video scripts.
- Create six (6) social media reels.
- Optimize past content based on SEO performance insights.
- Provide suggestions for future content strategy.
- Final performance review and assessment for potential contract extension.
