**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with clients/internal teams to understand their IoT and Embedded product requirements.
- Investigate, analyze, review and enhance functionality and modules for existing IoT products.
- Research and develop IoT products which match or transcend the latest trends.
- Embedded systems - device driver development (on Linux or RTOS environment), understanding of protocols (SPI, I2C, USB, SDIO, UART, GPIO etc.), board bring-up, interfacing peripheral.
- Ability to debug hardware and low-level software issues, power measurement and management.
- System Programming - Strong knowledge of operating system kernel (RTOS or Linux) and system software (compiler, linker), microprocessor/microcontroller architecture, synchronization, IPC, memory

management, system security, third party and open-source software.

- Undertake model making, prototyping and product testing.
- Plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget.
- Strong knowledge of programming in C/C++, Python, Embedded RTOS, RF, Integrated Sensors, Camera and GPS integration.
- Hands on cross compilation tool chains for embedded tool chain
- Architecting the firmware with BareMetal code/RTOS based system for IoT products
- Board bring-up & debugging experience in embedded devices
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools/devOps defect tracking tools, and peer review.
- Strong experience of Microcontrollers / Microprocessors, SoCs, SPI, I2C, UART and Sensor Data Management.
- Peripheral interface such as Ethernet, RS485, I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, LCD, Power Management, USB
- Wireless protocols such as Zigbee, Wi-Fi, BLE 4.0/5.0, 2G/3G/4G/LTE, LoRA, SigFox.
- Memory interfaces such as DDR, NAND, NOR Flash, EEPROM, eMMC, etc.
- Programming Knowledge of Raspberry Pi, AVR, STM, Arduino series, MSP430, Begalbone Black, IoT Bolt).
- Strong work experience and exposure to IoT Hardware Design or Embedded Systems.
