Job Description: Public Relations Manager (Restaurant)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Public Relations Manager to join our restaurant's marketing and communications team. As the Public Relations Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the restaurant's public image, building positive relationships with the media, influencers, and the community. Your primary focus will be on developing strategic PR initiatives, executing media campaigns, and coordinating events to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and ultimately drive footfall to the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Public Relations Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that align with the restaurant's overall marketing objectives. These strategies should encompass both short-term and long-term goals to enhance the restaurant's visibility and reputation.

2. Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets, including print, broadcast, and online platforms. Act as the main point of contact for media inquiries and facilitate interviews or media appearances for the restaurant's spokespersons.

3. Press Releases and Media Outreach: Create compelling and newsworthy press releases, pitches, and story angles to generate media coverage about the restaurant's events, milestones, promotions, and unique offerings.

4. Crisis Management: Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage any potential negative publicity or issues that may arise. Be prepared to address and mitigate reputational challenges swiftly and professionally.

5. Event Management: Plan and coordinate press events, media tastings, and promotional initiatives to engage media representatives, food bloggers, influencers, and key stakeholders. Ensure these events are well-executed and aligned with the restaurant's branding.

6. Social Media Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the social media team to integrate PR efforts with digital marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and maximizing reach.

7. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships within the local community by organizing community-based events, sponsorships, and partnerships that demonstrate the restaurant's commitment to social responsibility and local involvement.

8. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor media coverage and PR performance, track the success of PR initiatives, and provide regular reports and analysis to the management team.

9. Brand Ambassador Management: Identify and collaborate with brand ambassadors, celebrities, and influencers to promote the restaurant and enhance its public perception.

10. Budget Management: Oversee the PR budget, ensuring that resources are allocated wisely to achieve maximum impact and results.

**Requirements**:
1. Relevant Experience: Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

2. Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging messaging.

3. Media Savvy: Solid understanding of media relations, including media pitching, press release writing, and securing media placements.

4. Crisis Management Skills: Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively, safeguarding the restaurant's reputation.

5. Creative Thinking: A flair for developing innovative PR strategies and ideas that capture media and public attention.

6. Event Planning: Experience in planning and executing events, from concept development to logistics and follow-up.

7. Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in PR campaigns.

8. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

9. Passion for the Restaurant Industry: A genuine interest in the culinary and restaurant industry, with a deep appreciation for food, beverage, and hospitality.

**Salary**: ₹9,096.01 - ₹39,638.29 per month
