To conduct duties in the assigned Place of Work and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Hotel Standards, Policies & Procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**1. **Operational**:

- Ensures information from Guest is given to Housekeeping Desk and preferences to GRE.
- Ensures guest preference is met upon arrival and at every visit.
- Acknowledge and greet all guests.
- Provides a clean and defect free room for guest.
- Respond to all guest requests in a enthusiastic manner. Expedite requests as quickly and effectively.
- Communicates with guest at every opportunity to get their feedback.
- To walk the talk and be a role model in delighting the Guests.
- Recognizes team members for outstanding delivery of customer delight.
- Be visible and accessible to the guest and follow through.
- Maintains strong relationship and goodwill with regular guests and local patrons.
- Practices and promotes effective and timely recovery of guest complaint situations.
- To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.
- To perform all duties and tasks in the assigned Place of Work as per SOPs.
- Assist in reviewing SOPs on regular basis reflecting change in trends, guest expectations and operating philosophies.
- To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub departments of the Rooms Division or any other Department of the hotel as assigned.
- To perform all duties and tasks when rotated or assigned to another Department as per procedure of the Department.
- To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
- To perform opening and closing procedures established for the Place of work as assigned.
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of Housekeeping department and Room related service and product.
- To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.
- To monitor operating supplies and equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage.
- To work in related areas such as rooms, restaurants, lobbies guest cloakrooms corridors, basement areas including employee locker rooms, staff toilet, pantries, linen and uniform room.
- To undertake cleaning in peripheral areas like roads, car parks, receiving yards, garbage rooms etc.
- To clean rooms, toilets and adjoining areas as per Standards of Performance.
- To empty and sort garbage bins and take to disposal area.
- To assist in material handling, loading / unloading, stocking of goods, linen, uniform.
- To fetch and carry furniture, ladders and equipment.
- To ensure Housekeeping supply trolley is clean & tidy
- Ensures floor corridor and fire exit are cleaned & maintained properly.
- To ensure adequate guests supplies and amenities are placed in the rooms.
- To collect laundry from Guests and ensure the same returned to the guests after washing etc..
- To clean and polish floors items, furniture etc.
- To clean stained linen and upholstery public areas or rooms.
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all cleaning procedures, chemicals and equipment.
- To perform general cleaning duties as assigned by the Housekeeper.
- To exercise careful use of operating supplies and reduces spoilage and wastage.

**_QUALIFICATIONS/ TRAINING: _**- SSLC, Craft Course/ Diploma in Hotel Management

**_WORK EXPERIENCE_**: 1-3 years experience as room attendant in a similar class hotel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
