Contract Negotiator

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

We are a dedicated team of lawyers and legal personnel based in the ‘Agility Centre’, that is currently being setup in Bangalore (India) that will support the OLAA globally. The Agility Centre is part of the OCOO & wider OLAA and provide assistance to OLAA and HPE’s customer-facing businesses in negotiating and advising on diverse matters.

The Agility Centre is expected to provide high-quality, practical, commercially-focussed, cost effective and legal advice and support services (in accordance with HPE ethical standards and policies).

We are looking for motivated self starters, committed individuals to provide post execution Contract Management support for projects/deals across US, Europe & APJ.

a1.Required Core Competencies and Experience
- Experience in working on post execution contract management support for large, complex deals across geographies
- Demonstrable analytical skills in general
- Support the internal stakeholders and managing multiple clients, deals, tasks and deadlines
- Demonstrates high degree of capability to make sound logical decisions based on policy guidelines, an ability to learn processes and create documentation and manuals, exercise sound business judgment, work collaboratively, and engage in critical thinking and analysis
- Demonstrates high proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills.

- Provides legal advice to support client decisions within a specific legal concentration.
- Develops risk profiles addressing complex specialty law.
- Refines and builds knowledge from a variety of resources, working towards becoming an expert within a specific legal concentration, and shares knowledge with other team members.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves complex legal issues within a specialty area.

**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
- Advanced university degree in law (e.g. JD or LLB); additional advanced degree relevant to the specialty preferred.
- Meets local legal license requirements.
- Typically 4-6 years commercial legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
- Well developed level of business experience supporting clients or advising on specialty law matters.

- Well-developed breadth of practical knowledge within a specific legal concentration, with demonstrated in
- depth knowledge in one or more sub
- areas within the specific legal concentration.
- Good knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Well-developed competence and experience in negotiating or advising on legal and business matters in the specialty.
- Able to translate complex legal or factual issues into plain language communications.
- English language skills to business standard preferred.
