Automation Testing

**Role and Responsibilities**:
Own & drive automation scripting and framework needs or software test design/test case development/test execution with quality, reliability and OTD goals. Define new automation test architectural requirements
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Takes initiative to recognize obstacles and create solutions.
Makes test design decisions on major software projects and releases and proposes right test execution techniques based on the in-depth product knowledge. Responsible for systems level software test design work.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
Identifies software testing process flaws and proposes corrective actions to improve process. Provides guidance, feedback, and suggestions to improve quality process for the team
Coordinates software testing work of other individuals and send reports
Understands customer scenarios and leverages this understanding to test improvement solutions.
Responsible for organization's CIP goals that includes reduction of defects and improvement in productivity for the teams
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Will be working on test-data management, bug reporting, supporting customer, debugging and root causing customer issues, creating test design & test cases, automation script development and automated script execution
Technically contributes towards new product development programs without supervision
Provides technical support and qualify new software release/patch to Lam Customers
Troubleshooting involves performing in-depth analysis of software logs, reproducing the issue on a simulator environment, and debugging through code to identify the root cause
Collaborates with cross functional teams to ensure fast solutions delivered to the customer
Requires mínimal direction, Identifies, and pursues opportunities for innovation within discipline or business area. Provides informal guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.

Mandatory skills
Hands-on experience in software QA and automation.
Has in-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies.
Experience in testing methods like GUI, Functional, Integration, Regression, and System and Performance Testing
Proficient in software quality risk management strategies
Proficient in Test Automation and Automated Testing for releases
Hands on expertise on test maintenance tools like Client QC, Zephyr, Xray
Expert knowledge on UI automation tools like TestComplete, Rational Functional Tester, Selenium, UFT etc.
Hands on experience on Hybrid automation frameworks using JUnit, TestNG etc.
Knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA, Rational ClearQuest
Knowledge of source control tools like GIT, SVN and Rational ClearCase
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts. Hands on experience in programming and scripting.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Proven work experience as Program lead

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
MS / MTech / BE / BTech in Computer Sc / Electronics / Information Technology or MCA
Years of Experience 11-14 years
Desired skills
Knowledge on SQL queries, Jenkins, CI/CD and related tools
Experience in Big data environment
Knowledge of Unix, Linux
Semiconductor industry background
Knowledge on SmallTalk
Simulation software testing and automation
