JR29659 Manufacturing Technician

As a MFG Shift Production Technologist, you will assist Area Engineer to plan and execute daily manufacturing operations that line up with tactical line direction to achieve quality output goals. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and maximizing constraint tools utilization and optimizing WIP Scheduling to meet tactical shift targets. You will need to troubleshoot and release blocked or hold WIP, AMHS delivery delay, and prepare Prime/Non Production Wafers (NPW) to support daily manufacturing activities according to priority. You are expected to maintain housekeeping of work area and perform tasks safely according to procedures.

SUPPORT PRODUCTION LOT START
> Establish communication with Planning to highlight and resolve gaps.
> Ensure FOUP availability
> Ensure ETI logging accuracy
> Access and understand ET maintenance
> Coordinate with PEE/PRD/QRA on FOUP return flow
> Advocate FOUP housekeeping rules.
> Identify and troubleshoot PM FOUPs that are unable to auto wash.
> Make forward plans and execute to meet operation requirement.
> Make decision in accordance to priorities in tactical planning when face with constraints.
> Participate in new FOUP/FOSB qualification and implementation process

SET UP AND UPDATE TWM
> Demonstrate general understand TWM function and performs set up
> Update with Area feedback
> Initiate and propose TWM limits
> Troubleshoot system setup errors and lot issues

EXECUTE NON PRODUCTION WAFER ISSUANCE
> Demonstrates a general understanding of NPW Types, Issuance Procedures and Applications
> Demonstrates ability to advise users on NPW type match on non-routine requests guided by cost efficiency, contamination control requirement.
> Demonstrates ability to advise users on NPW type match on non-routine requests guided by cost efficiency, contamination control requirement.
> Approve non-routine TW request based on guidelines.
> Identifying non production wafer housekeeping opportunities and execute with correct disposition flow.

PROCESS UNDERSTANDING
> Update and fan out test wafer flow charts
> Knowledge on Recycle Clean recipes content and uses
> Track post clean fall out trend for high usage travelers and trigger when deviation is observed.
> Run tests and assist Process with recipe optimization with moderate judgment for post clean fall out reduction.
> Subject expert in process traveler requirements.

WAFER MANAGEMENT
> Track, monitor and interpret data to change reclaim ship out rate according to reclaim forecast requirement
> Trigger relevant personnel for recycle fall out trend deviation and initiate actions for recovery
> Trigger relevant personnel for reclaim wafer delivery deviation to plan and initiate actions for recovery
> Improve efficiency of downgrade/recycle setups and paths
> Provide weekly visibility on reclaim wafer WIP pending process at vendor sites.

TROUBLESHOOT AREA ISSUES
> Identify key issues in NPW management in the Fab.
> Demonstrates a general understanding of NPW Procedures and Applications.
> Identifies deviations from accepted practices in systems, tools, and processes.
> Troubleshoot problems with minimum instructions.
> Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
> Solution provider for more advanced problems.
> Liaise with relevant teams/departments on rectifying system issues.

MONITOR PC AREA EFFICIENCY
> Uses the most efficient and effective means to keep PC area function running.
> Drives solutions to maximize area efficiency.

STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE MANAGEMENT
> Initiate a document creation upon establishing new procedures.
> Fan out of any new procedures to shift team and ensure compliance to SOP.

SUPPORT CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
> Demonstrates good knowledge of TPM components
> Lead continuous improvement projects in PC and customer areas.

CONTAMINATION CONTROL
> Demonstrate understanding of different contamination groups.
> Drive practices to prevent cross contamination.
