**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, implement, and manage SEO strategies for WordPress websites.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink audits using tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs.
- Optimize website structure, headings, internal linking, and content for search engine visibility.
- Manage and execute on-page SEO activities including meta tags, alt text, keyword placement, schema markup, and content optimization.
- Build and manage high-quality backlink strategies through outreach, guest posting, and relevant link-building techniques.
- Monitor website performance, crawl errors, indexing issues, and suggest improvements.
- Improve website speed and performance using caching, image optimization, and performance-enhancing WordPress plugins (e.g., WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache).
- Collaborate with content writers and developers to implement SEO best practices.
- Provide detailed SEO reports, ranking updates, and progress documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and algorithm updates.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience with **WordPress** and WordPress SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast, Rank Math).
- Strong understanding of **on-page** and **off-page SEO** best practices.
- Expertise in **backlink building techniques** and proven success with link acquisition.
- Proficiency with tools like **SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console,** and **Google Analytics**.
- Basic knowledge of **HTML**, **heading tags**, and **website structure fundamentals** relevant to SEO.
- Experience improving **site speed and performance** using plugins and manual optimizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in **English**.
- A portfolio or case studies of previous SEO projects is a must.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of technical SEO audits and implementation.
- Familiarity with schema markup and structured data.
- Understanding of local SEO and Google My Business optimisation.
- Experience with WooCommerce SEO (if applicable).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
