**Position**: Lab Technician (DMLT)

**Location**: Calicut

**Experience**: 1 to 2 years

**Job Summary**: Dr. Aravind's IVF Fertility Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lab Technician with a DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) qualification and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring the accuracy of results, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in the laboratory.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests and experiments as directed by the senior laboratory staff and physicians.
- Prepare and analyze samples, such as blood, urine, and tissue, using various laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests, results, and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of specimens for testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storing as necessary.
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to handle and dispose of hazardous materials and biohazardous waste.
- Collaborate with the medical team and other laboratory staff to interpret test results and communicate findings to physicians and healthcare providers.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in laboratory technology and techniques through continuous education and training.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory, including the proper storage of chemicals and supplies.

Pay: Up to ₹180,000.00 per year
