- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Supervise daily operations in the heavy fabrication shop, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards and safety regulations.
- Lead and manage a workforce of over 100 employees, including welders, fabricators and machine operators, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor and coordinate workflow, assigning tasks to workers based on priorities and skill levels.
- Ensure that all production processes comply with safety and quality standards while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of machinery, tools and equipment, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Review and analyze production schedules and work orders to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality control and procurement teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
- Provide guidance, training and mentorship to staff to improve performance and develop their skills.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Identify and address any production issues or delays, troubleshooting and implementing solutions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, quality checks and inventory usage.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and industry standards in all production activities.
- Report regularly to senior management on production status, workforce performance and any challenges faced in the manufacturing process.
- **Qualifications**:_

**Educational Background**:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mech).
- **Experience**:_

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, particularly in heavy fabrication or construction-related manufacturing.

Proven experience in managing a large workforce (more than 100 employees).
- **Technical Skills**:_
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, machinery and techniques used in the construction or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to mentor and train employees to achieve high performance.

- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations specific to heavy fabrication and construction industries.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software.
