As a researcher and copywriter, your goal is to improve our presence online through generating the best content for all platforms. We want intelligent, worldly content creators—nerds and avid readers with a passion to learn our craft and achieve the strongest online presence in our niche. **Responsibilities**
- Become familiar with our collections and our brand voice
- Research the most prominent interior designers, architects, influencers, trade magazines, and competitors in home furnishings and high-end carpets with a stress on the American market
- Research the best SEO practices and terms to optimize our copy
- Write content for our blogs, website, newsletters, and other marketing platforms with an institutional, but simple voice
- Collaborate with fellow editors, researchers, and writers to pitch ideas and launch our upcoming magazine
- Write and edit back-end content such as meta titles, meta descriptions, alt text, keyword phrases, and keyword synonyms
- Teach your fellow teammates and monitor your progress—our goal is to rank first on Google in all topics and searches in our niche
- Analyze content from competitors to improve our own

**Experience and Skills**
- 2-years’ experience as a content creator with a portfolio of published work
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Detail-oriented copywriting and copyediting skills
- Able to research through different platforms such as social media, books, newsletter subscriptions and more
- Familiar with basic systems like Mac OS and Google Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field—backgrounds in têxtiles or interior designs is a huge plus
- Proactive in scheduling regular meetings and staying on top of others
