Foundry (Grey & Ductile Iron Castings)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Furan Sand Molding Oversight**: Supervise and manage the furan sand molding process, ensuring the preparation and mixing of sand with furan resin meet quality standards.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and coordinate a team of molding operators, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor the quality of molds produced, conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure they meet specifications.
- **Process Optimization**: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure all safety protocols are followed in the molding area, conducting regular safety briefings and training sessions.
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee the inventory of molding materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely procurement.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of molding operations, including production logs, quality control reports, and maintenance schedules.
- **Communication**: Facilitate effective communication between the molding department and other departments, ensuring smooth workflow and timely issue resolution.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in furan sand molding operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluency in Tamil, English, and **Hindi** is mandatory.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong understanding of furan molding processes and equipment.
- **Leadership Abilities**: Proven experience in leading and managing a team in a manufacturing environment.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- **Safety Awareness**: In-depth knowledge of safety standards and practices in a foundry setting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
