Internal System Administrator

We are looking for a skilled, diligent system administrator to maintain and administer our company’s servers, desktops, and network. The system administrator’s responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues and ensuring that all computing operations run with optimal performance and security. To be successful as a system administrator, you should have an excellent ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. The best system administrator will also be a team player, willing to handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
- Monitoring system performance and security, to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely
- Providing technical support when requested.
- Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
- Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.
- Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system.
- Proper inventory management.
- Testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Vulnerability and patch management.
- Maintaining proper documentation.

System Administrator Requirements:

- At least one year of experience in Linux administration.
- Relevant degree or diploma in information technology or related fields.
- Familiarity with Windows and network administration, and hardware maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux administration and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with DNS, Web servers, MySQL, Mail servers, VPN, NFS, and bash scripting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certifications such as RHCE, CCNA will be an added advantage.
- Willing to work in flexible/rotational shift timings

- Any Degree/Diploma
