Job Description:
Purpose
To provide 1st, 2nd or 3rd level technical support to Brennan IT clients, engineers and staff, 1st level monitoring and technical support to Brennan IT clients and staff. To coordinate, collaborate and escalate incidents within stipulated timelines, maintain existing cloud/infrastructure services and ensure that environment runs in an optimal way.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ø Maintaining/contributing to KMS for client and internal team, for both technical & processes
- Ø Server monitoring using SCOM, N-ABLE, Logic Monitor, Basic Intune / SCCM configurations
- Ø Understanding of O365, Mimecast, Intune, Azure integration
- Ø Manage security settings on Microsoft ATP
- Ø Knowledge of endpoint security at CSP level for Sophos, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike etc.
- Ø Ability to perform initial investigation on security breach alerts
- Ø Vendor Management (hardware and Software vendors - HP, Dell, MS, VM, Citrix and others)
- Ø Storage understanding NAS, SAN e.g., data domain, IBM, Netapp, Hitachi, Fujitsu, HP 3par
- Ø Administration of Windows Server, groups, group policies, DNS, DHCP
- Ø Understanding of backups, replications for Veeam, Symantec, Zetro, Commvault
- Ø On premises backup alert management, monitoring and restoration
- Ø Execution of maintenance tasks, App upgrades, patch escalations etc.
- Ø Monitor, Investigate and escalate issues in timely manner as per escalation Matrix
- Ø Ability to manage technical escalations from client/end user/internal team
- Ø Migration of VM’s from on premise to cloud
- Ø Basic understanding of SQL, maintenance plan, backup
- Ø Understanding of certificate management on appliance, servers, websites
- Ø SSL certificate renewal and installation on various roles (IIS, ADFS, ADC-Netscaler, Apache, SQL Reporting Services, WAS, Load Balancers)
- Ø Smooth and timely customer engagement
- Ø Disk, CPU, Snapshot management provisioning
- Ø Monitor, manage experience with ESXI/Hyper-V hosts, Nutanix, Dell, HP SimpliVity
- Ø Manage understand Failover Cluster, NLB
- Ø Manage windows update compliance.
- Ø Antivirus Management, Sophos, Defender.
- Ø Routine firmware upgrades of Physical Servers.
- Ø Capacity planning and management
- Ø Patching ESXi hosts and vCenter updates
- Ø Basic know how of linux
- Ø Availability during critical outages impacting multiple functions
- Ø Maintain the performance level and upkeep virtual, physical infrastructure
- Ø Working within the team to develop processes to enable Automation, Orchestration, and enhance existing services
- Ø Knowledge of vulnerability management and critical remediation
- Ø Change management, performing RCA and able to clearly articulate the actions/outcomes
**Desired Experience**: 2-5 yrs. minimum experience in Windows Server Administration / System Administration / Wintel Administration / Hyper V Administration / IT Technical Support role/ for international clients, preferably in MS IT provider / IT Companies.
**Key Competencies**:
- Ø Knowledge of as many more technologies like VMware, Windows Hypervisors, Azure Administrations, O365, Mimecast, SQL Administration, Windows Administration.
- Ø Must have secondary and tertiary technical skills.
- Ø Should have experience in VM Deployment, VM Migration, managing host clusters
- Ø Extremely high-level attention to detail with methodical troubleshooting process
- Ø Independent time management skills
- Ø Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ø Must have knowledge of Storage technologies like HP, IBM, Dell, Cisco servers
- Ø Demonstrable Industry based technical aptitude (E.g., Microsoft, Citrix, HP, VMware, Hyperv, Nutanix, O365, Azure Administration)
- Ø Proactive vs Reactive approach
- Ø ITIL Service Management Foundation accreditation
