**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- As VMware Administrator, you are responsible to provide technical support of VMWARE servers with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance.
- You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.
- Responsibilities:

- Install, configure and manage VMware Private Cloud virtualization environment components (vSphere, vRA, vROPS, ESX, NSX). Willing to cross skill in VSAN & NSX to support full cloud stack
- Design and engineer complex requirements to existing customer infrastructure in a cost effective manner. Subject matter expert and be able to articulate expertly solutions through written or verbal methods. Be able to trouble shoot complex problems quickly and effectively.
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
VMware - Proficient with Design / Deployment / Management of VMware Products to include vSphere, VCenter, VROPS, and NSX
- Participate in design workshops conducted by the customer, gather Funtional and Non-Functional Requirements, Prepare HLD and LLD
- Provide Operation and Sustainment support for the virtualization environment.
- Ensure virtualization systems are compliant within required security standards.
- Develop and maintain O&S Standard Operating Procedures for VMware virtualization environment.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the virtualization environment including Microsoft and Linux O/S.
- Within established procedures, responds to end user requests for technical support and assistance.
- Support the Certification and Accreditation process for virtualization hosts.
- Maintain current industry knowledge of development concept, practices and procedures.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's baseline IT capabilities, design and objectives.
- Active Directory,Windows Account access and controls,Service account setup and configuration, Security controls, and migration of systems to a more secure baseline.
Able to assess and solve issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills; Must be able to multitask without sacrificing attention to details.
- Able to work effectively with other groups and teams.
- Enterprise Infrastructure - Have in depth knowledge of networks / firewalls / SANs in regards to supporting virtual and physical server infrastructure
- Troubleshooting - Proficient at Systematic analysis to diagnose and trace data flow to determine cause and effect of issues.
- Strong Communications, Problem Solving, Leadership and analytical skills
- Must be able to come up to speed on new project areas quickly as this role will grow quickly

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Proficient in controlling administrator rights on VM Infrastructure.
- Ability to setup of resource pools and a VMware Distributed Resources Scheduler (DRS) cluster, Resource Management, Resource Monitoring along with VMware High Availability (HA) cluster
- Proven experience in ESX Server Installation and
- configuration of virtual switches, network connections and port groups configure Storage
- Expertise in Virtual Center Installation and configuration and Installation of its components Perform Level 3 Support Esx Operating system
- Demonstrable experience in Install / Upgrade Esx platform environment
- Validated understanding to support Level 3 OS monitoring Client Software,
- Backup and Recovery client, Client Software, automated Security, health checking client, OS monitoring
- Proficient in scripting ESX Server deployments for remote installation and security in a VMware Virtualized Environment

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Systems Administrators supporting Private and Multi Cloud - VMware Solutions (VCS) have applied technical knowledge of the ESXi, including understanding VMware cloud architecture.
- Use VMware tools (tool details) to support change requests, maintenance activities, performance tuning,
- patching and compliance activity following IMI delivery model and methodologies.
