**Job Title**: WAF Security Engineer
**Location**: Pune and Trivandrum

**Experience**: 5+ Years

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and tune WAF systems and reverse proxy security appliances
- Analyze and respond to security alerts and incidents
- Fine-tune WAF policies based on threat intelligence and behavior analysis
- Develop automation scripts (Python, Shell, etc.) and integrate security tools
- Perform forensic analysis and identify indicators of compromise
- Collaborate with teams to close control gaps and improve incident handling processes
- Leverage threat intelligence for proactive security measures
- Support cloud WAF platforms like Akamai and Imperva

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- 5+ years in Network Security or Incident Response
- Hands-on experience with WAF or reverse proxy appliances
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and web protocols (HTTP, SSL, DNS, etc.)
- Experience with Linux, scripting (Python/Shell), and monitoring tools (Syslog, SNMP)
- Basic cloud and automation tool knowledge (Terraform preferred)
- Familiarity with ITIL and service management processes is a plus
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹332,824.97 - ₹1,506,018.74 per year
