The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company premises, personnel, assets, and visitors. This includes monitoring activities, patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing rules and regulations to maintain order and protect people and property.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activities.
- Report any irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Operate and monitor surveillance systems, security alarms, and access control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security reports.
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures.
- Assist in emergency situations such as fire, evacuation, or medical incidents.
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure security equipment is functional and report any defects.
- **Monitoring and Surveillance: Observing** and analyzing CCTV footage, patrolling premises, and securing access points (doors, windows, gates).
- **Access Control: Checking** identification, issuing passes, and controlling entry and exit of personnel and visitors.
- **Incident Response: Responding** to alarms, investigating incidents, and taking appropriate action (including contacting law enforcement or medical professionals when necessary).
- **Enforcing Regulations: Maintaining** order, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures.
- **Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining** detailed records of incidents, patrols, and security measures.
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols.
- Monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities
- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.
- Testing security systems and, if needed, metal detectors, and Breathalyzer.

**Awareness**: Noticing unusual behaviors, changes in the building or other discrepancies in their specific area is vital as a Security Guard.

**Physical fitness**: Sometimes, Security Guards may need to follow or chase intruders or trespassers from their building or area. Physical fitness is key for good Security Guards.

**Communication**: Excellent Security Guards write and share thorough reports of their time on duty with their employers.

**Honesty**: Since most Security Guards work autonomously with little direct management or oversight, honesty and trustworthiness are absolutely necessary.

**Autonomy**: Security Guards should be motivated to work independently and without constant monitoring or supervision.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
