1. **Student Recruitment and Outreach**

2. **Provide Information and Guidance**
- **Advising on Academic Programs**: Counsel prospective students on choosing the right academic program or major based on their interests, academic background, and career goals.
- **Assist with Financial Aid and Scholarships**: Offer advice on scholarships, grants, and other financial aid opportunities available at the institution.
3. **Application Review and Evaluation**
- **Conduct Interviews**: In some institutions, admission counselors may conduct interviews to assess applicants' suitability for the institution.
4. **Building Relationships with Prospective Students**
- **Individual Counseling**: Offer one-on-one counseling sessions to prospective students and their families to answer questions, provide support, and help with the decision-making process.
