**Key Responsibilities**:
**Collection Management**:
Acquire, catalog, and maintain a diverse collection of books, periodicals, digital resources, and other educational materials.

Evaluate and update the library's collection regularly to ensure its relevance and quality.

Monitor and manage the library budget for acquisitions.

**Library Services**:
Assist students, teachers, and staff in locating and using library resources effectively.

Provide reference services, answer inquiries, and guide users in conducting research.

Facilitate interlibrary loans and resource sharing with other institutions.

**Library Organization**:
Create and maintain a well-organized library space conducive to learning and research.

Implement an efficient classification system and ensure proper shelving of materials.

Regularly update the library's catalog and online resources.

**Information Literacy**:
Collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy skills into the curriculum.

Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance students' research and information retrieval skills.

Promote digital literacy and responsible online behavior.

**Reading Promotion**:
Foster a reading culture by organizing book clubs, reading challenges, and author visits.

Arrange book displays and thematic exhibitions to encourage reading among students.

Recommend and suggest books tailored to students' interests and reading levels.

**Technology Integration**:
Stay updated on emerging technologies and digital resources relevant to library services.

Manage and maintain library management software and electronic databases.

Assist users in accessing and utilizing e-books, online databases, and research tools.

**Library Policies and Procedures**:
Develop and enforce library policies, including lending rules, library hours, and code of conduct.

Ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all library users.

Maintain records of library transactions and statistics.

**Professional Development**:
Participate in professional development activities and stay informed about current trends in library science.

Network with other librarians and educational institutions to share best practices.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Library and Information Science.

Experience working as a librarian in an educational institution, preferably a CBSE school.

Proficiency in library management software and digital resources.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for reading, learning, and promoting literacy.

Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property issues in an educational context.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
