**Expectations from the Role**:

- Guide students in understanding the assessment reports step by step.
- Help students craft a long-term plan for reaching their career objectives.
- Help students recognize their strengths and weaknesses and guide them to choose careers which will actualize their fullest potential.
- Advise school and undergraduate students on career development paths and admission process to various courses to pursue careers that suit them.
- Sharing insightful knowledge about prospective and futuristic careers.
- Recognize traits that could undermine the students’ career success and facilitate them to overcome these by sharing practical strategies.
- Understanding both students and parent’s career aspirations and guiding accordingly.
- Guiding students about relevant institutions, scholarship programs and internship options.
- Conducting group student and parent workshops for building awareness about careers and educational pathways.
- Provide insight on useful coursework and degree programs supporting the students’ career aspirations.
- Draw practical strategies for students to help them develop both hard and soft skills required for aspired jobs.
- Recruit, Induct, train, mentor, engage and retain part-time career counselors with excellent skills to provide career counseling and guidance to students and career seekers.
- Guide part-time career counselors to deliver career counseling sessions to students and career seekers as per the counseling and guidance delivery guidelines and defined standards.
- Participate in the career counseling delivery sessions by part-time career counselors for supervision and management of the performances by the counselors.
- Carry out various tasks, as required for the delivery of the career counseling and guidance services.

Background and Requirements

Job Requirements

Desired Experience Range: 7-10 years in career counseling of school and college students as well as young professionals

Educational Qualifications: MA Psychology/MA Education or M.Ed. (with specialization in Career Counseling)/ PG Diploma in Career Counseling / MBA with a specialization in HR and with the requisite experience

**Must-Have**

1. (Knowledge about

careers across all major industries, job opportunities, academic pathways

leading to the careers, and higher and vocational educational options in

Indian institutions).

2. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of more than one language.

3. Strong Interpersonal skills; ability to connect with young students and gain

trust.

Good-to-Have

1. Awareness about the future trends in the industries and job markets as well

as about the emerging and futuristic career options and educational options.

2. Strong analytical skills for understanding and interpreting psychometric

assessment reports

3. Excellent academic background and customer referrals.
