Residential Nurse

A residential nurse in a school provides healthcare services and support to students in on-campus residential facilities. Responsibilities include:
Student Health Assessments: Evaluate students' physical and mental well-being, collect health information, and perform screenings.

Medication Administration: Administer medications according to prescribed protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate with parents and staff.

Medical Care and Emergency Response: Provide immediate care for injuries and illnesses, assess emergencies, and collaborate on emergency plans.

Health Education: Educate students, staff, and parents on health topics and promote healthy lifestyles.

Health Record Management: Maintain confidential student health records and ensure compliance with regulations.

Collaboration and Communication: Work with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.

Qualifications: Nursing license, pediatric or school nursing experience, knowledge of childhood illnesses and emergency procedures, communication skills, and organizational abilities.
