Role Overview:
The Placement & Training Coordinator will play a pivotal role in shaping the career journey of BBA and MBA students by ensuring end-to-end coordination of placement and internship programs, corporate onboarding, student training, and industry-aligned development. This role demands a passionate, student-centric individual who can build strong industry relationships, design impactful training modules, and guide students toward their professional goals with a strategic 3-year career roadmap.



Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Onboarding & Relationship Management
- Identify, approach, and onboard companies ranging from MNCs, mid-sized firms, startups to reputed local employers for placement and internship opportunities.
- Develop a strategic pool of hiring partners tailored to the skillsets of MBA and BBA students.
- Maintain long-term relationships with HR and recruitment teams of corporates and ensure repeat hiring.

2. Student Training & Curriculum Development
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training modules based on industry expectations covering soft skills, aptitude, interview readiness, domain-specific skills, and communication.
- Conduct regular training sessions and guest lectures to ensure students are industry-ready.
- Build customized skill enhancement programs for students based on market trends and job role demands.

3. Individual Student Guidance & Counselling
- Maintain an updated skill & progress record for each student and conduct regular one-on-one counselling sessions to provide personalized career guidance and motivation.
- Provide a structured 3-year career roadmap for students to help them align their goals with relevant job roles and industry sectors.
- Identify high-potential students and provide focused mentorship to help them achieve high-paying job opportunities.

4. Placement & Internship Management
- Manage the entire lifecycle of the placement process including student shortlisting, interview coordination, offer management, and post-placement support.
- Organize and manage internship programs with proper documentation and feedback mechanisms.
- Track placement and internship records through a centralized MIS system for accurate and timely reporting.

5. Process Setup & Reporting
- Design and implement a structured placement & training process, ensuring smooth operations and effective tracking.
- Submit timely and comprehensive MIS reports related to placements, internships, and training outcomes to the management.
- Ensure compliance with institutional KPIs and placement targets for every batch.



**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Management (MBA preferred) or related field.
- Certifications in career counselling or training & development (desirable).

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in training, placements, HR, or corporate relations in the education sector.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Industry awareness and corporate networking ability.
- Training delivery and curriculum development expertise.
- Student counselling and mentoring skills.
- Analytical skills for maintaining placement data and MIS reporting.
- Strategic mindset with a student-first approach.
