Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Snowflake Environment Management: Maintain and manage the Snowflake data platform, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Job Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor Snowflake jobs, logs, and query performance to ensure efficient operations.
- Deployment & Release Management: Handle deployments of scripts and objects from lower environments to production following best practices.
- Security & Access Control: Manage user roles, privileges, and security policies within Snowflake.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize queries, storage, and compute resources to enhance system performance.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure proper backup strategies and disaster recovery plans are in place.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, DevOps teams, and Business Analysts to support data solutions.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake Administrator or related role.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, roles, and access controls.
- Experience in monitoring jobs and troubleshooting issues in Snowflake.
- Proficiency in deploying Snowflake objects (schemas, tables, procedures) across environments.
- Knowledge of Snowflake cost optimization strategies.
- Experience with SnowSQL, Snowflake CLI, or automation tools.
- Familiarity with Informatica IICS
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure) and integration with Snowflake.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in an offshore support model.
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments.
- Understanding of Data Governance & Compliance in Snowflake.
