Position: Fashion Design Tutor

Location: Walk In Dombivli

**Job Type**: Part-time/Full-time

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

1.⁠ ⁠Teaching & Mentoring:
Conduct engaging sessions on fashion design principles, sketching, fabric selection, and color theory.

Teach tailoring techniques, including pattern drafting, stitching, and garment finishing.

2.⁠ ⁠Practical Training:
Guide students in creating garments such as blouses, kurtis, dresses, and modern wear.

Demonstrate advanced tailoring methods using industry-standard tools and equipment.

3.⁠ ⁠Curriculum Development:
Develop and update a comprehensive syllabus for fashion design and tailoring courses.

Incorporate trending topics like sustainable fashion, ethnic designs, and creative pattern-making.

4.⁠ ⁠Student Assessment:
Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and practical work.

Provide constructive feedback to help students refine their skills.

5.⁠ ⁠Workshops & Industry Exposure:
Organize workshops, guest lectures, and exhibitions to enhance student learning.

Share insights into the latest fashion trends and career opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Strong expertise in tailoring, garment construction, and pattern-making.

Proficiency in sewing machines and design tools.

Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching.

Prior teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 6 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:
