**Job Overview**

As a Trainee at Salad Days, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to develop your skills in various aspects of salad preparation and kitchen operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management while contributing to the creation of delicious and healthy meals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Learn the elements that constitute a well-balanced and appealing salad.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Salad Days' menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Become proficient in the use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Participate in regular sanitization tasks to maintain a spotless kitchen.
- Learn and practice essential food preparation techniques, including cutting, blanching, and boiling.
- Properly handle ingredients and follow planogram guidelines for ingredient storage and organization.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary education is a plus but not required.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
