Basic Responsibilities
- Proofread all learning content (Manuscripts, worksheets, question banks and content) for errors in grammar, content, and design
- Compare manuscripts with proofs. Ensure that the content has 0% error of any kind.
- Make edits manually and digitally in PowerPoint and excel.
- Confirm all associated components match prior to final proof approval.
- Review submissions for consistency between primary, secondary levels for each script/document, etc
- Formatting and editing of the text as per the requirement of markets & clients.
- Coordinate with the content creator and internal team

Required Specific Skills:

- 2 -3 years of experience in an editorial/proofreading role
- preferably in the academic publishing sector.
- Grad or Post Graduation in any Science stream.
- Ability to find mistakes in the sentence and accurately check and correct grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation errors.
- Robust and needs error-finding skills.
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Must have good general knowledge and also industry-based technical knowledge to check the content and correct it.
- Ability to closely follow all policies and procedures.
- Good team player. Self-motivated, disciplined and able to remain corporately focused.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- High level of ability on communicating verbally with the team

IT skills required
- Proficiency in MS-Office
- Professional training in proofreading techniques.
