Key Responsibilities:

- **Diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and other conditions**: Pediatricians address a wide range of health issues in children.
- **Providing preventative care**: This includes administering vaccinations and offering guidance on healthy habits.
- **Monitoring growth and development**: Tracking physical, emotional, and social development.
- **Prescribing medication and providing treatment plans**: Tailoring treatment to the individual needs of each child.
- **Communicating with parents and guardians**: Providing updates on the child's health, answering questions, and offering advice.
- **Referring patients to specialists when needed**: Ensuring children receive the appropriate care for complex medical issues.
- **Educating parents and guardians on health and wellness**: Providing information on nutrition, safety, and other important topics.
- **Maintaining patient records**: Keeping detailed notes on patient health, treatment, and development.
