American Institute of Pathology and Laboratory Sciences Pvt. Ltd (**Ampath**), is a state of art pathology and diagnostic solution provider. With a presence in over 20 States and 56 cities in India, Ampath boasts a Central Lab in Hyderabad, along with 15+ satellite labs, over 2200 collection points, and an extensive menu of 2600+ tests comprising of advanced molecular tests, histopathology, immunoassay, hematology, biochemistry and microbiology.
We have an immediate requirement in our Cytogenetic Department, Ampath, Hyderabad.
**Job Responsibility:
- **
- Implements & follows all accreditation guidelines, ISO 15189, NABL 112, CAP and policies and procedures as indicated in the AmPath quality documents.
- Inspect the incoming samples against set acceptance and rejection criteria.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Perform the analysis of all types of biological specimen like body fluids, blood samples, tissue, urine, bone marrow, lymph node etc using manual methods as per lab SOPs.
- Performs maintenance laboratory equipment as per the defined program in the laboratory.
- Performs daily culture room cleaning, daily maintenance of equipment, filing of the log sheets and register, archiving of slides and pellets, culture set up and harvest, slide preparation, scoring, capturing, karyotyping and report preparation of all sample types and archiving of slides and TRF’s as per guidelines in the cytogenetics department.
- Perform FISH procedure of all types of biological specimen like blood samples, tissue, bone marrow, lymph node etc. using manual methods as per lab SOPs.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
