**Roles and Responsibilities of a Procurement Engineer**
**Procurement Strategy Development**:
- Analyze project requirements to determine the scope and specifications of materials, equipment, and services needed.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives and project goals.
- Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet project needs.
**Procurement Process Management**:
- Coordinated to issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Track and monitor the delivery of materials and equipment to ensure timely arrival at the construction site.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels.
**Quality Control**:
- Review material and equipment specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Conduct inspections of delivered materials and equipment to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
- Manage quality assurance procedures, including coordinating with suppliers for any necessary corrective actions.
**Cost Control**:
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure competitive rates and favorable conditions.
- Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project timelines.
- Manage financial aspects of procurement, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
**Supplier Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and favorable terms.
- Develop and implement supplier performance evaluation processes to assess and improve supplier performance.
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly and effectively.
**Logistics Management**:
- Coordinate transportation and delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site, ensuring efficient and timely logistics.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing storage and usage of materials.
- Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure smooth and cost-effective transportation.
**Contract Management**:
- Administer subcontracts and monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Resolve any contractual issues that arise during the procurement and construction phases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
**Industry Knowledge and Trends**:
- Stay informed about new technologies, materials, and procurement practices relevant to the construction industry.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and training to enhance knowledge and expertise.
**Reporting and Communication**:
- Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and project progress.
- Communicate procurement status and performance to stakeholders, including the Operations Manager and Project Controller.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and address any procurement-related concerns.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
