**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify current fashion trends and predict consumer preferences.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative product ideas based on research insights.
- Design and sketch new products, selecting fabrics, trims, and materials.
- Utilize waste materials to create sustainable fashion designs.
- Create clothing patterns for mass production, testing fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures.
- Oversee production processes, including fittings, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Foster relationships with vendors, suppliers, and models to ensure smooth production and launch processes.
- Communicate technical design information for customer samples and internal teams.
- Contribute to seasonal design development with the team, ensuring designs align with market trends and consumer needs.
- Create technical packs with detailed specifications for production.
- Develop CAD sketches and presentations for stakeholders.
- Manage the prototype sample process from creation to final approval.
- Collaborate on mood board creation to define the season’s visual inspiration.
- Prepare cost sheets and product lists for each design.
- Create a planner to schedule design tasks, production timelines, and key milestones for each project.
- Knowledge of crochet.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fashion design, with a focus on sustainable fashion or using waste materials.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
- Strong sketching and illustration skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of fabrics, têxtiles, and garment construction.
- Ability to translate research insights into innovative design concepts.

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience with sustainable fashion practices or upcycling materials.
- Knowledge of global fashion trends and consumer behavior.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to create and manage project planners.
