We use the full Abinitio product suite across projects and set standards globally on leveraging the product to its full capacity. **How You Will Contribute** - Partner with global TransUnion technical teams to build the UK Data Management platform using agreed technologies & tooling working closely with the UK Tech Lead, Software Architect & Test Lead - Ensuring the availability of CI/CD Pipelines to support Ab Initio builds and deployments. - Producing and maintaining installation and configuration documentation. - Actively participate with the UK development team using an agile approach. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional technology teams using the SCRUM methodology. - Ensure TransUnion design patterns, frameworks, and architectural standards are implemented consistently within the work delivered. - Identify risks that need to be managed. - Responsible for identifying the root cause of issues raised so preventative measures can be implemented. **What You Will Bring** - Being passionate about data. - Significant hands on experience of Ansible, Jenkins and Linux systems initially focused on CI/CD pipelines for a petabyte scale data processing platform in AWS. - Experience with the broader Abinitio tool suite such as Express>It, Continuous Flows, Control Center, Query>it etc - Significant use of Linux and shell scripting. - Leading and mentoring other DevOps engineers with a team - Experience of DevOps Methodologies. - Working knowledge of AWS. - Experience of deploying solutions using Continuous Integration/Deployment techniques. - Ability to communicate well, both with technical and non-technical staff - Willingness to take ownership of problems - A good understanding of the full software development lifecycle - A good understanding of general source control practices (structures, versioning, branching, tagging, merging) **Desirable skills** - Exposure to high performing, low latency or large volume data systems. - Ability to demonstrate knowledge of several advanced Ab Initio concepts such as, project architecture, meta-programming, vectors, parallelism, performance tuning, debugging, SMP/MPP architectures, platform integrations (Hadoop, Java, C, etc.) **Impact You'll Make**: **What We Offer** We aim high — and are reaching for new heights every day.
