Backup and Recovery:

- Creating and maintaining regular system backups
- Implementing disaster recovery procedures to restore data in case of system failure.

User Management:

- Creating and managing user accounts and access levels
- Providing user training on AS/400 system operations
- Troubleshooting and Support:

- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to AS/400 systems.
- Providing technical support to end users experiencing problems.
- Designing and managing databases using the AS/400 database management system

Performance Optimization:

- Analyzing system performance metrics and identifying areas for improvementImplementing performance tuning techniques to optimize system efficiency.**Requirements -**
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer Science.
- Proven work AS400 administration is preferred.
- Detailed In-depth knowledge of AS/400 operating system and commands
- Proficiency in AS/400 programming languages like RPG, CL, and SQL/400
- Understanding of database management concepts and tools within AS/400 environment
- Experience with system administration tasks like user management, security configuration, and backup procedures
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.
- Should be flexible for rotational shifts.
- Application support.
- Knowledge with other IBM Flavors.
