**Skills Required**:

- Proficiency in multiple Microsoft Office systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Meet the patients in the room with a smile
- Explain about the various facilities available in the hospital
- To visit all patients in the assigned ward, enquire, and attend to their needs everyday
- To co-ordinate with other departments in attending to the patient’s needs
- Inform the Consultant’s secretary and the resident or registrar about the new admissions
- After investigations, collect the report as per TAT
- Send an approximate billing card after receiving the patient from surgery
- To give PFE to the patients about the discharge process on the day before discharge for planned discharges and on the day of discharge for unplanned discharges
- Send updated billing cards to the billing department for discharging patients
- Follow up with the doctors for a discharge summary
- Ensure all reports are given to the patient at the time of discharge
- Give authorization form for the pending reports
- Maintain the case files of the patient neatly with all the necessary case papers, investigation reports and billing card
- In case of death, extend all help necessary and to inform various departments like Security, Billing, MRD, HOD, Admission, and Housekeeping
