Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

**Role Purpose**

The role covers technical system administration work on Dynamics AX (DAX) area. He or she is responsible for the qualified and timely delivery of DAX administration. Following the procedures ensures the DAX environments are maintained, monitored and operated in order to provide high availability.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing system administration work on production and non production DAX environments according to the procedures in working and beyond working hours
- Ensuring the administration is performed according the global standards, principles and tools to fit for purpose
- Responsible for monitoring, operating & supporting all Dynamics AX environments
- Aim to high availability of production and non production environments - 99,3% availability for production
- Ensuring the administration services are performed by the highest possible quality and in the fastest possible time ensuring the system stability
- Providing DAX administration in business as usual and project mode
- Execute change management strictly according to the procedures
- Manage environment maintenances, backups, recovery
- Install new releases
- Perform self quality checks and check for peers
- Perform user administration
- Take preventive/corrective action to ensure the complete Microsoft Dynamics AX environment is managed properly
- Monitor system health and performance. Tune system performance.
- Automate system administration work with scripting
- Communicate to end users about system maintenances
- Deliver administration procedures and documents
- Assist in the development of guidelines and/or policies for administration area
- Proper and daily time registration for BAU and project work
- Provide on duty services out of the working hours according to the HR agreed procedures

**Education, specific skills**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred

**Expected skills, expected soft-skills, competencies**
- Good knowledge in SQL, TSQL
- Experience in Visual Studio
- Experience in PowerShell
- Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS and SSAS
- Experience in virtual technologies and terminal server environment
- Experience in monitoring tools
- Open to learn new technologies, skills based on business requirements
