The BMS Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and overall facility performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Monitor and Control**: Operate the Building Management System to monitor and control various building systems, including HVAC, lighting, security, fire alarms, CCTV, access control and other related equipment.

**Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve issues with the BMS and associated systems by analyzing system logs, alarms, and other data. Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot malfunctions to ensure proper functioning.

**Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the BMS and associated equipment, such as calibration, sensor testing, software updates, and equipment inspections, following manufacturer guidelines and maintenance schedules.

**Alarm Management**: Respond to alarms and alerts generated by the BMS promptly. Investigate the cause of alarms and take appropriate actions to address the issues.

**Energy Management**: Optimize the performance of building systems to achieve energy efficiency and cost savings. Make adjustments to system settings and schedules as needed.

**Data Analysis**: Analyze data collected by the BMS, generate reports, and provide insights on system performance, energy consumption, and potential areas for improvement.

**Collaboration**: Coordinate with facility management, maintenance staff, and external vendors for repair and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of the BMS with other building systems.

**Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system configurations, operational procedures, and other relevant documentation.

**Safety and Compliance**: Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
