A Lift Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting lifts (elevators) and escalators to ensure their safe and efficient operation. They must comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines while delivering high-quality service.
- Install new lifts, escalators, and related equipment according to specifications and safety regulations.
- Conduct testing and commissioning to ensure proper functioning.
- Work with engineers, electricians, and other team members for seamless integration.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of lifts and escalators as per the maintenance schedule.
- Inspect components such as motors, brakes, cables, and control systems.
- Lubricate, adjust, and replace parts to ensure smooth operation.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in lifts and escalators.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including motors, pulleys, relays, and control panels.
- Ensure mínimal downtime by responding to breakdowns promptly.
- Follow safety procedures and industry regulations (e.g., EN 81, OSHA, local lift codes).
- Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Keep accurate service records and complete required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules, repairs, and safety guidelines.
- Provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
- Maintain accurate reports of work completed and log any issues encountered.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
