Principal/vice Principal Required for Middle School

Below are the expectations we have for the Principal position.

**Expectations**
- Very good leadership skills - capable of governing & guiding/mentoring the staff.
- Being up to date on current practices and new techniques relating to school programs, teaching and administration by attending meetings and professional development conferences, and reading professional materials
- Explore and deploy new methodologies in teaching to enhance academic performance. Observe methods of instruction and endeavoring to improve the efficiency of the staff and the school in general.
- Knowledge/experience in enabling activity-based learning for the kids
- Assist the teaching staff in the development, implementation, modifications, and selection of curriculum materials. Set learning goals for students and teachers and take it to completion.
- Hold regular staff meetings for the purpose of discussing educational and administrative matters.
- Develop and support a high degree of student morale through curricular and extracurricular activities and services and co-ordinate the participation of all members of the teaching staff in the extracurricular program
- maintain neutral relationship with staff and enable a professionally healthy environment.
- Experience in planning and executing school events (annual day, sports days, cultural events, etc.)
- Participate in the selection of professional, clerical and support staff
- Be responsible for the preparation of timetable, class lists and schedules, and supervision schedules and be responsible for their functioning.
- Excellent English-speaking skills. 100% compliance in students to be able read and speak in English. Enforce English to be strict medium of instruction for staff and enforce communicating English among students.
- Fast Typing and computer skills (use of MS Office Word/PowerPoint/Excel or anything equivalent)
- Educational qualification preferrable - Under Graduation/Post Graduation with (B.Ed. or M.Ed. or MPhil)
- Independently able to handle parent communications and ensure a friendly environment/relationship with them.
- manage school logistics (not limited to working with DEO for recognition approvals, fee determination, fire/sanity approvals, Transport logistics, fee management, school ledgers/records maintenance etc.)
- willingness to travel for school related work (field trips, DTCP, DEO work, school campaigns etc.)

**Challenges to you in your new role**:

- This is a startup school with growing strength. We have approval to conduct classes from Pre-Kg till VIII standard. Our target is to increase the strength to the fullest approved limits in the coming academic year.
- build trust and belief in the parent’s mindset.
- avoid students availing transfers to other schools and increase the strength in higher classes. find out the problems and implement ideas seeking management support (if required) in achieving this goal.
- Extend school approval to run higher secondary classes in the next couple of years.

**Salary**: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
