We are searching for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join a dynamic team at a reputable company within the Kolkata Leather Complex.

The Role
- In this exciting role, you will play a key part in the merchandising process for leather goods.
- You will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing merchandising strategies to ensure successful product launches and profitability.
- You will collaborate with various teams, including buyers, suppliers, and distributors, to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to 1 year of experience in leather goods merchandising to gain valuable industry experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement merchandising strategies for leather goods products.
- Analyze sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate customer needs and plan product ranges.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of products according to set deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Leather Technology or Design (preferred).
- 0-1 years of experience in Leather Goods Merchandising (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Graphic Designing Software(s), MS Office Suite.
