Geriatric Counsellor

**Job Brief**:
An Elder Buddy (Psychologist) works with elders. He/She conducts Cognitive activity and therapy sessions for elders at home.

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct case history and psychological assessment

Design and conduct activities for seniors based on their history and needs

Provide intervention for various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders

Assessing clients' behavior and needs via observation, interviews, and psychometric tests

Developing, administering, and monitoring appropriate treatment therapies and strategies

Writing daily and monthly reports

Providing psycho-education and counselling to family and paid caregivers

Help seniors learn to make use of mobile apps and laptop

**Requirements**:
Age: 20-35

Experience: Fresher to 2 years

Willing to travel within the city

Good if having own transport

Knowledge of psychological theory and practice

Interest in how people think and behave

Good research skills

Ability to relate to and empathize with a range of people

Good teamworking skills

Excellent communication skills

Sensitive listening and questioning skills

Ability to cope with emotionally demanding situations

Ability to work both on your own and with others

**Education**:

- Master's (preferred)

**Experience**:
