**Hiring for Pastry Chef Head**

**He/ she should be versatile in his culinary approach with an extensive knowledge in Bakery/ pastry**:
**Salary: 8 lpa to 10 lpa**

**Responsibilities in detail**:

- Supervises and manages chefs. Manages all day-to-day operations. Understands employees

positions well enough to perform duties in employee’s absence.
- Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behavior.
- Ensures and maintains the productivity level of employees. Ensures employees understands

expectations and parameters.

- Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards.
- Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards.
- Supervises pastry preparation shift operations and ensures compliance with company

standards.
- Should be well versed with bulk production and finishing of French entremets, glazing, velvet

spray technique.
- Conducts daily briefings, formal on - the - job training sessions with kitchen employees.
- Evenly distributes the work load amongst chefs.
- Checks perishable food items received for quality and quantity standards.
- Checks on taste, consistency and quality of all prepared food items. Ensures there is no over

or under production.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal offerings and cater to company

preferences.
- Assists in development and test new pastry recipes to expand the product line and create

unique dessert options. Innovate and experiment with flavors, presentation styles to keep

offerings fresh and appealing.
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients, ensuring that all items are stocked and availability

as needed.
