**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Execution and Supervision**:

- Oversee daily activities at the construction site to ensure work progresses as planned.
- Assign tasks to laborers, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
- Ensure construction activities comply with design plans, specifications, and standards.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct inspections at various project stages to verify adherence to requirements.
- Address non-conformities and implement corrective measures.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure the construction site adheres to safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for site workers.
- Investigate and report accidents or safety incidents.
- **Resource Management**:

- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Manage manpower allocation and productivity on-site.
- Monitor inventory and ensure the proper use of resources.
- **Progress Monitoring**:

- Maintain project schedules by tracking progress and resolving delays.
- Communicate progress updates and potential issues to the Project Manager.
- Prepare daily and weekly site activity reports.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Act as the main point of contact between contractors, subcontractors, and the project team.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to address technical challenges.
- Handle queries from workers, clients, and stakeholders on-site.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years in civil construction supervision or a similar role.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- **Certifications**: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are an advantage.

**Work Environment**:

- Primarily on-site at construction locations, often exposed to varying weather conditions.
- May require extended working hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
